Frequently asked questions
- How much does it cost to rent a goalie?
- Goalkeepers set their own hourly rate. The 20 goalkeepers on the site charge $20 to $50 per hour (average $28). A 15% (min $3) platform fee is added at checkout, and the goalkeeper keeps their full rate. Goalie rates rise once a year by the annual US inflation rate (CPI-U), rounded to the dollar, so goalies never have to update them by hand. Rates never go down, and a goalie can turn this off in their profile.
- How do I book a goalkeeper?
- Post a match request with the field or rink, date and time. Approved goalkeepers nearby apply and you pick one from their profiles. You can also choose a goalkeeper from the list and book directly.
- How does payment work?
- Payment happens only through the platform, by card with Stripe. No cash or off-platform payments, and goalkeepers don't add extra charges such as travel fees.
- What if the goalkeeper doesn't show up?
- If the goalkeeper cancels, you get a full refund. If they don't show up, report it on the platform after the scheduled start time; a no-show supported by the booking records is eligible for a full refund. Goalkeepers who miss matches or cancel late drop in the rankings.
